Grown in Southeast Asian countries, turmeric is consequent to the curcuma longa plant. The root of the curcuma longa is detached once it’s cultivated to its full size. This is when the turmeric is crafted. The root is grinded, and then added to food particularly Indian curry. Turmeric powder includes many chemicals also known as curcuminoids, which is beneficial for treating health conditions. Since this is used interchangeably with turmeric, the most active part of the powder is called Curcumin, which is a natural chemical compound.
